I'm happy to share something new: Fondo Oro Magazine now has a Shop.

From today, you can find vintage postcards, secondhand art books / monographs, and exhibition catalogues on gold-ground painting and beyond — carefully selected, and now just a click away. Some rare items and books you can only find here.

What's in the Shop

The first collection is built around three categories:

• Vintage postcards — beautiful historic postcards connected to the fondo oro tradition, starting with a piece from Perugia, Italy

• Art books — secondhand monographs / studies / essays on early Italian painting in English, German, Italian and other languages

• Art catalogues — exhibition and collection catalogues in English, German, Italian and other languages

Things that matter — not generic merchandise.

How it works ‍

Shipping is worldwide, sent from Bonn in Germany via DHL. Checkout runs securely through Squarespace Payments / Stripe.

This is a starting point. I will list and sell off my complete collection of art books (200+). If there's something you'd love to see in the Shop, I'd genuinely like to hear about it.
