“Pour la première fois, le musée du Louvre consacre une exposition à Cimabue, l’un des artistes les plus importants du 13e siècle. Elle est le fruit de deux actualités « cimabuesques » de grande importance pour le musée : la restauration de la Maestà et l’acquisition d’un panneau inédit de Cimabue redécouvert en France en 2019 et classé Trésor national, La Dérision du Christ.
