Lippo Vanni

Lippo Vanni was a 14th-century Italian painter and miniaturist from Siena. He began creating miniatures for the city's Santa Maria della Scala in 1344 and officially joined the painters' guild in 1355. Notably, in 1352, he painted the Coronation of the Virgin for the Biccherna, which served as the Sienese Ministry of Finance.
